If you like a relaxed lifestyle whereby the pace of life is very slow compared to the rest of the world.  There are a few things to consider when thinking of working on St Helena (apart from its isolation).  Local jobs are advertised each week in the local press, and are open to Saints first.  However, if you are a non-Saint you can still apply.

You can become a Saint, by acquiring ‘St. Helena Status’, but to do so you have first to live here (supporting yourself – roughly around £10,000 per person per annum to live ok on the Island excluding trips overseas) for five years and have no criminal record.

Anyone can start there own business.  Enterprise St Helena is an on island agency which offers services and advise for starting businesses on the Island.
